Characteristics of The Learning traditional and Innovative Learning

A.   Preliminary
Currently used by teachers of learning is very important and very influential on students' understanding. Learning includes the learning of traditional and innovative pembelajarn. Until now there are many teachers who apply traditional pembelajran, although there are still many difficulties of learning. To date, innovative learning is necessary because learning is not just transferring a science, but also an understanding and meaning of every science is taught by a teacher to the students.
Therefore, teachers should be able to give a good classroom, so that the students are really learning to master the material learn well. Mathematics teaching and learning objectives are as follows:
1.      To understand the mathematical concepts, explains the relationship between them and apply them in solving problems accurately and efficiently.
2.       To develop thinking skills in mathematics learning patterns and characteristics.
3.      To manipulate them to generalize, to prove and explain mathematical ideas and propositions.
4.       To develop problem solving skills that include understanding the problem, outlining mathematic  models, solve them and predict outcomes.
5.       Communicate mathematical ideas using symbols, tables, diagrams and other media.
6.      To develop an appreciation of the use of mathematics in daily lifes, curiosity, consideration, and to encourage the will and self-confidence in learning mathematics.

B.      Contents
A.     Traditional Learning
Traditional mathematics teaching, the learning of mathematics by relying on a single method of expository cycle: explaining, giving examples, asking questions
and giving the task in the classical style. With this method the math teachers have difficulty in:
a.       Serve the needs / demands of the students in learning mathematics
b.      Encourage underachieving students to improve academic achievement
c.       Encourage students to actively learn
d.      Using props and develop mathematical
e.       Encourage students to learn through collaboration
In addition to the above difficulties, with traditional learning, the child will be easy to forget the material that has been taught by the teacher. Because traditional learning only teach students to know when it learning without knowing the meaning and significance of the material they studied. At this learning traditional, teachers would be more active than the students, so students will be less enthusiastic about learning, many students often feel tired or fast easy to forget the subject matter at the time.

B.     Innovative Learning
Innovative learning is expected to make students who have the capacity to think critically and skilled in solving problems. Students are able to play this kind of reasoning is clear in the process of understanding and good at taking something and making selection decisions. This is possibly due to the understanding of the interconnection between systems or subsystems associated with the problems it faces. Also seen the ability to identify and find the right questions that can lead to better problem solving. The information obtained will be framed, analyzed and synthesized so that it will be able to answer both these questions.
In addition, innovative learning reflected in the results shown in the communicative and collaborative student as reflected in its ability to articulate thoughts and ideas clearly and effectively through speech and writing. So did the students with these characteristics may indicate the ability to work effectively with a diverse team, to play and a willingness to compromise flexibility in achieving a common goal.

C.      Conclusion
Teachers need to develop learning in the classroom with teaching methods and techniques are varied so that students are able to understand and interpret the study as well. Learning so that they receive is not in vain and always be remembered and well embedded in the minds of students. In pembelajran expected to be more active students than teachers. That the students were able to find the subject matter itself.
